Eligibility

WRC provides services to individuals of all genders experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence, or stalking in Cleveland County, OK. The organization’s materials describe the shelter as providing emergency housing for survivors and their children.

How to access this service

For immediate safety or to request shelter: call the Domestic Violence Crisis Line at (405) 701-5540 (available 24/7). For sexual-assault crisis support and Rape Crisis Center response: call (405) 701-5660 (available 24/7). For community-based services, counseling, or administrative inquiries call the Business / Administrative line at (405) 364-9424 or the Community Services Office at (405) 310-3131. If in immediate danger call 911.

What to bring

WRC’s safety-planning guidance recommends, if possible, bringing essentials when leaving: change of clothing for you and children, medications, important documents (IDs, birth certificates, Social Security cards, passports, school records, medical records, court/legal documents), financial documents, phone numbers for supports, and any evidence of abuse. (If in immediate danger, safety is the priority and items can be left behind.)
